Why I Keep Returning To Chester...

So recently I've started going to Chester quite regularly, whether that's for shopping, drinking or eating!

There's so many things to see and do whilst in the town that you can't really get bored. My most recent visit was for a friends birthday where we visited a lovely restaurant called the 'Coach House' and then later went on for cocktails.

Now this is what I wanted to rave about... 'The Botanist', this cocktail bar is awesome. The atmosphere was so relaxed and people of all ages were having a great time, the decor was eye catching and had that old worldy vibe to it!

The drinks as well were incredible! I had a lemon and jasmine collins which was not too sweet and not too sour, we also had the most loveliest bellinis and mojitos!

Now I always struggle with what to wear when it's cold and dismal outside for nights out like this! But I decided upon a perfect smart/causal look. Here's what I chose...

When its too cold out I instantly go to jeans, so I decided to pair my black jeans (New Look)with my little black boots (Matalan) which are super comfy due to the small heel and padded sole. These babies keep your tootsies nice and warm but also glam the outfit up slightly, oh and don't make your feet ache!

The top I wore is a simple black tank top (New Look) which always goes with everything! To make this seem more fashionable I simply added a small black belt to tie the look together (Matalan).

I believe that it is true what they say, black is very slimming! The simple addition of this cute khaki waterfall jacket (Boutique of Molly) adds style and class to this outfit and keeps it simple. The waterfall cut of this cute jacket is very flattering and fits any figure well.

To keep extra warm while the weather is still chilly I added a super cozy scarf to this outfit from going to bar to bar.

Have you ever been to Chester?

What do you guys choose to wear when its a little too cold for dresses?
